About Mohan Ananda
Hi! I’m Dr. Mohan Ananda, the Chairman and CEO of Innovative International Acquisition Corp. (IOAC), a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) that successfully completed an IPO on NASDAQ, raising approximately $230 million. My professional journey has been diverse and impactful, spanning science, law, and entrepreneurship.
My career began as a scientist with contributions to NASA and the US Department of Defense. I played a pivotal role in shaping the Global Positioning System (GPS), a transformative technology that has become integral to modern navigation and numerous applications worldwide.
After my scientific endeavors, I transitioned into the legal field and founded Ananda and Krause, a law firm specializing in corporate law and intellectual property. Our firm has been instrumental in guiding startups and medium-sized companies through capital raising and mergers and acquisitions, ensuring they navigate the complexities of corporate growth effectively.
As an entrepreneur, I have been at the forefront of founding and taking several companies public. Notable ventures include:
- Stamps.com (NASDAQ): A revolutionary online postage company that transformed the way postage is purchased and used.
- Envestnet (NYSE): A leading provider of wealth management technology and services to financial advisors and institutions.
I have also authored two books, “Autobiography of an Immigrant” and “Small Steps, Dream Big,” which offer insights into my journey as an immigrant and my entrepreneurial strategies. These works reflect my commitment to sharing knowledge and inspiring others through my experiences.
